Araman 2

Project specifications

Araman project (2) is located in the north of Isfahan on Iman St., the form of the project is designed based on a different view of the city of Isfahan. Isfahan is a city with a unique architecture of historical places, places like Naqsh Jahan Square, Khajo Bridge, thirty-three bridges…
The initial idea of the project is based on the use of common arches in the architecture of the Safavid era of Isfahan, as well as the redefinition of arches with a modern perspective.
The main shell of the facade is covered by the cross-section of the arches, which has created positive and curved spaces in the facade. This composition has created different terraces with different roof heights and also different spatial quality for each residential unit. .
The entrance part of the project has been created with respect to the greenery and trees in front of the site in the form of a quarter circle in the depth of the building.
In addition to the existing arches, the facade is composed of sloping horizontal surfaces that direct natural light to the interior spaces and save energy in the use of artificial light.
The selection of the project material according to the local and traditional context of Isfahan consists of an index material (brick) as the dominant material.
Due to the looseness of the soil in the area and excavation to a depth of four meters, the idea of creating a garden pit was formed, which has led to the creation of a residential unit with a private yard.
The ground floor of this project consists of 3 parts: lobby, parking and facilities room.
This five-story residential project includes six residential units.
